Our Inflatable Pool Manufacturing and Inspection Process

Explore the production steps behind our drop-stitch pools — material inspection, CNC cutting, valve and panel assembly, finishing, testing and final packing. Material and test requirements are defined in the approved product specification for each B2B OEM or ODM project.

The Five Production Steps

High-density double-layer drop-stitch fabric — the same premium material used for our SUP boards — is transformed into a single-chamber, self-supporting pool through five controlled steps.

  1. 1

    Material Preparation & CNC Cutting

High-density double-layer drop-stitch fabric — the same premium material used for our SUP boards — is fed into CNC cutting machines that precisely cut pool floors, side walls, and reinforcement patches per engineering blueprints.

  2. 2

    Valve & Fitting Installation

Precise ports are punched in the designated wall panels, then 38 mm standard filter-pump ports, water shut-off valves, over-inflation safety valves, and drain valves are heat-sealed in place against internal air and water pressure.

  3. 3

    Panel Assembly & Rail Bonding

The main floor and perimeter walls are joined into a single air chamber with specialized heat-welding equipment, and all edges and seams receive double or triple-layer reinforced PVC rail bands to withstand high internal pressure without deformation.

  4. 4

    Accessory Integration & Finishing

Handles, repair-kit components, and optional covers (e.g. Oxford fabric lids) are fitted, followed by visual inspection of seams, valve seals and dimensions against the approved specification.

  5. 5

    Pressure & Leak Testing

Completed pools are inflated to the rated operating pressure and checked against the pressure and leak-test method and acceptance criteria in the approved production specification before final deflating, cleaning, and packaging.

How Buyer Requirements Are Controlled

For OEM and ODM projects, the approved specification is the reference point for production and inspection. The applicable checks are confirmed before the order is released.

Approved Specification

Dimensions, materials, colors, branding and packing requirements are documented before production.

In-Process Checks

Seams, valves, reinforcement and key dimensions are checked at defined stages.

Test Criteria

Pressure/leak test method, hold time and acceptance criteria are agreed per product.

Final Inspection

Finished goods, accessories and carton contents are checked against the packing list.

Pressure & Safety Specifications

The manufacturing target for each approved product: rigid, leak-proof walls at a safe, repeatable working pressure with automatic over-pressure protection.

Recommended operating pressure
4–5 PSI
Maximum pressure tolerance
8 PSI
Pressure-relief valve auto-release
Above 6 PSI

Manufacturing Buyer FAQ

Project-specific answers on inspection, documentation and production control.

How are materials and production processes inspected? ▼
Incoming materials, in-process workmanship and finished goods are checked against the approved specification. The specific inspection points and acceptance criteria are confirmed for each product and order.
Can we include our own inspection requirements? ▼
Yes — share the standards, test methods or third-party inspection requirements your market needs during the RFQ. We will confirm which requirements can be incorporated into the project specification.
What records can buyers request? ▼
Documentation depends on the product and project scope. Tell us what your compliance team or customer requires, and we will confirm the available records before production.
Where does production take place? ▼
Production is based in Qingdao, Shandong, China. The contracting entity, production location and shipping terms are stated in your quotation.
